PageDrop · Files worth sharing
PageDrop quick start
Upload your first HTML or Markdown file, check its preview and create a controlled share link.
Web workflow
- Create an account and complete the required verification, or sign in with an available provider.
- Download an official sample or prepare a single HTML, Markdown or TXT file.
- Upload it in Files. Wait for the security scan to finish.
- Preview the content, create a share and choose expiry, password or visit limits.
- Copy the complete link. Share URLs include an owner segment; keep it intact.
Choose an integration
Use the web interface for occasional uploads, CLI for terminal workflows, REST API for your application, or MCP for an AI client. These interfaces use the same file and share controls.
API tokens
Create a dedicated token in API Tokens. Store it in a private environment or client settings. Respect its configured scopes and rate limit; retry a 429 only after the indicated delay.
A terminal example
After installing the CLI, configure your private PAGEDROP_API_KEY and set PAGEDROP_API_URL=https://pagedrop.space.
pagedrop whoami
pagedrop upload report.html --share '{"expiresInDays":7}'
Troubleshooting
- 401: check the token and API host.
- 429: wait for the retry window; avoid repeated uploads.
- Scan pending: wait and check file status before treating the link as delivered.
- Missing images: replace local relative paths with accessible absolute URLs or inline assets.
Turn your next report into a link
Upload a single file, review it, then choose who can access it and for how long.
