PageDrop · Files worth sharing
Share an HTML file as a link
Preview a single HTML file online and share it with a password, expiry or visit limit.
When to use it
You have a report.html or prototype.html on your computer and want someone to open it in a browser. Upload the file, check its preview, then create a link with the access policy you need.
Prepare the file
Keep CSS and JavaScript inside the HTML when possible. Images and other external resources need absolute URLs accessible to the recipient. Local paths such as ./assets/chart.png will not upload automatically.
Upload and share
- Sign in and open Files.
- Upload the .html or .htm file, up to 10 MiB.
- Wait for the security scan and check the preview.
- Create a share; optionally set a password, expiry or visit cap.
- Copy the complete returned URL, including its owner segment. Open it as a recipient to verify the result.
Try an example
Open the project report or try the prototype. Download either source file and upload it yourself.
Is this a web hosting replacement?
There is no Node.js, PHP or database runtime for uploaded pages. Some browser capabilities are restricted by the sandbox. Use full application hosting for backends or multi-file builds. See the decision guide.
Can a recipient view without an account?
Yes, for a normal share. Password-protected links require the password; links with a login requirement require a signed-in recipient.
Turn your next report into a link
Upload a single file, review it, then choose who can access it and for how long.
